A screen kit posted to the property is the fastest answer if the question is only for you. Modern sealed surfaces in a small unit sample cleanly. If you need something an owner or insurer will rely on, book on-site sampling instead.
Can you test a unit in a high-rise?
Yes. Let us know the building when you book, because lift access and loading dock arrangements affect the length of the visit.
Will a DIY result be accepted in a dispute?
Assume not. Because you collect the samples yourself, a kit does not carry independent chain of custody, which is what QCAT (the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal) would generally expect. For a dispute, book documented on-site sampling instead.
