Best for: You want a laboratory figure and you are not in a city where we have a certified tester yet.

What it will not do
- You took the samples — chain of custody starts when the lab receives them, not at the wall
- A solicitor, insurer or tribunal may still want an on-site tester
- A hot spot you did not swab will not appear on the report
If you need this to be right
Lab mail-back kit is a screen you do yourself. That is enough when the number is only for you. It is the wrong product when someone else has to act on it.
- Do not clean, paint or air the place out first — you will pay for a result that does not describe the building.
- One wipe on a clean kitchen does not speak for a spare bedroom. That is what the multi-room kit and the guided call are for.
- Tribunal, insurance, sale disclosure, a solicitor’s request: that is an on-site certified tester, and only in cities we actually cover (Brisbane, Logan, Gold Coast, Moreton Bay, Redlands, Ipswich).
